Just For Fun During Prohibition
Just for fun, during prohibition, if you were a moonshiner what would you do to your Model A to increase its performance to out run the Feds? (Note: you must use period parts up to 1933). In addition, how would you canceal the alcohol, and is there an "A" model you would prefer? Add why to all above questions?
Pictures of period moonshiner vehicles would be great and links to websites would be informative.

Re: Just For Fun During Prohibition
Moonshiners and rumrunners needed a larger vehicle to maximize the volume per trip. My great uncle hauled whiskey from Alberta into Montana many times using a big Oakland sedan with the back seat removed for extra space. I'll bet that an AA truck with the load concealed by hay bales would make a good under-the-radar option to the potential high speed chase scenario.

also if you knew you had to travel thru a known police heavy area if you have a decoy car cause a problem on the other side of town the truck could lumber thru without issue. that and the age ol trick of knowing the backroads like the back of your hand and cut the lights at night and gun it. kick up as much dust as you can so you cant be followed.
