Default Please ID this adapter for transmission

This was in a load of 8 BA parts. What does this part fit?

It might let you use the front plate from a four speed truck crash box on the back of a 59A block to take a modern 3 or 4 speed. Hard to explain. Someone else will certainly chime in on this.

It looks like it bolts to the truck hogs head for a T-5 trans. Walt

My first thought as well. Adapts the Ford truck "hogshead" to what looks like a GM 3 or 4 speed.

Edit: dang I type too slow!

Here are some sketches that might help extablish what it is NOT. The adapter I have was advertised as being Chevy-to-top-loader (I think??)
The T-5 measurements here, are from a Camero T-5 with Ford pattern, approx 92-94 - at least that's what the trans seller said. It's my understanding that there are other T-5 patterns.

I agree with Walt. It certainly looks like ones that I have made over the years to hook a later transmission to a truck hogs head.
