T5 swap in 48-52 f1
I have done a search and found no help so I ask ...has anyone done the install of a S10 T5 into 48-52 f1 truck. just wondering what frame mods were done and how and what was used for the rear trans mount...

It works great!! My t5 is from Mustang with a S10 tail shaft (for proper shifter placement) works great!!! I would tell anyone and everyone to do it. I have it in a 49 F1.

The Cornhusker bell housing cost 485 dollars when all that's needed in this conversion is a plate between the Ford Bell and the transmission. I made one for Richards installation all the stock clutch stuff worked fine. all he needed was a clutch disk. |
