Default Flathead Porn - H&H's Photos

Hi Everyone. I was dreaming of visiting H&H Flatheads when I'm out west for the Western National Meet in October.

I saw on their website that they have crate motors. Hmmm, I clicked...

Major dose of Flathead Porn. Over sixty engine photos from stock to mild to wild to obscene.

It is a place that only a lover of flatheads would appreciate and no, this is not me screaming their virtues. It is just the sheer number of flatheads and parts of all kinds just laying outside, literally over one half of the property's size, that just took my breath away. Then you go inside to see all the goodies - Sharp, Navarro, Ardun - nothing like the roar of an Ardun at Bonneville - all of this takes your breath away a second time.

You may not be a fan of some things, some of us being purists and all, but the volume of flathead stuff he has just blew me away .....

All I can say is, seeing is believing - go visit and enjoy!

The first engine appears to be a 221 modified with interesting heads. Wonder why they kept the three bolt distributor setup.

The first engine is a Lincoln V12, with stock dist, which works very well when properly set up.

I was reading about the pressure test/ceramic sealing, seems like a sure cure for down the road leaks. Has anyone here seen/used this?

Some nice engines here but many would look nicer if they weren't "over blinged" with over polishing. I think this actually detracts from the look.

I appreciate the huge amount of skill and dedication to build those engines, but I'm with the other GB on this. I prefer my flatheads 'black', like my coffee and my Jack Daniels.

Hi Everyone. Angledrive, Thanks for the tip on that one. JM had also suggested it. We're having Friday and Saturday after the meet to see some sights, and Early Ford Store is on the list along with TROG, the V-8 Meet, and H&H.
