Default Removing Break Drums

After getting the Ole Girl running this week for the first time I put her up on jack stands to begin inspecting, adjusting the brakes. Pulled three brake drums with no problem, got to the left rear and could not get it to budge, used a hub puller, a BFH and heat and low and behold, I had forgotten to release the emergency brake.............duh. Once I stumbled on to that it popped right off.

Lesson Learned...double check all assumptions.

I have a printed note on my tool/work bench that reads, "K. I. S. S." We all know what that stands for. I also have a note taped to my lawnmower (after modifying the fuel lines) that asks, "Gas off?"

I like your - double check all assumptions - idea.

That was my question as well, 100IH. Might be worth a look before things go back together.

My concern as well, something is correct between left and right e-brakes. We will see next week when I sit down to clean and inspect/adjust.
