Question Correct distributor?

There is an NOS disributor for sale locally for $45. Part number OBA-12127
Will this work on a 51 mercury? the one on the car now is steel and the one for sale is aluminum. Would this be a good deal? No problems with the one I currently have but I thought it'd be a good replacement
Thanks

Google the part number OBA 12127 Ford and read the infomation than make that decision for your self. Might be worth $45 to you just for show and tell ???
Guys have to have extra parts for some unknown reason :>).......
