Default 48 Coupe-There's another old Ford on the road

Finally got her running and roadworthy. Am having the time of my life driving around town after all the work it took to get her going. Many thanks to the fine people on this forum for all the help along the way. Still lots to do but she's a driver.

Ha ha no need to apologise. You must be stoked. It's a great feeling when you take a car from a non runner to a fully driveable vehicle.

Congrats on the milestone - always important to grin like a goof when driving old iron. Enjoy the ride.

Color rendering on screens is, at best, inexact. By my eye, it looks like the Glade Green sample in the Early Ford V8 reference book.

The car was repainted somewhere along the line, but the color is pretty close to the factory paint. There are a few places where the original color can be seen, as under the spot light mount. I believe FortyNiner is right about Glade Green.

Looking good. I remember the excitement of the first run down the road after bringing the 52 Merc back to life. Nice to see you have the original paint shined up.

Looks like a nice honest car with lots of stories in it's history. Hard to tell with paint fade but looks like early 60's Ford truck green. Glade green was a shade or two darker in my opinion. When you go for that first ride you do feel like you are 17 again!

Congratulations on getting another old Ford on the road. Enjoy using it as it is. Nothing to be ashamed about.
