Default column shift on 40 - 41 pickups

was a column shift offered as an option on 40 - 41 pickups? I have seen several over the years.

Just 1941. Used a car column but a truck only column drop. A different pedal cover was used for the clearance of the shifter and a notch on the bottom corner of the firewall
