1929 Special Coupe, unrestored

This 1929 Special Rumble Seat Coupe was found in a garage two years ago after sitting for 40 years. It's got new tires, wiring harness, brakes, plugs, modern points and condenser, distributor cap and rotor, fan belt, battery and cables, fuel shut-off valve, door handle mechanisms, radiator hoses and thermostat, a rebuilt carb, rebuilt generator, new exhaust, new ignition switch, new floor mats, new headlight sockets and bulbs, and a bunch of other small parts that I can't even remember.

It runs, drives, and stops great. Everything on it works as it’s supposed to. I’ve had it on the road for the last two years.

The body is very solid with only a little rust in a few places. The interior is far from original, but useable. It has original “patina” and is loved everywhere it goes. I love it too, but I’m 6 feet 3 inches tall and I don’t bend very well any more. It’s difficult for me to get in and out. I found a two door sedan to replace it.

It’s a good, affordable driver that will bring a smile to your face, as well as to others who see it. It gets more attention at cruise-ins than $90,000 Corvettes.
