Default unknow distribitor

I suspect I know what this is but the rotor confuses the issue or maybe solves the issue.

has a 68 part number on the inner section

It is '32 with a later advance and original rotor. Look at casting inside front and see if everything matches up to the oil channels cast on front...I have one fake (sold to me openly and honestly, I should note!) made by welding and sculpting the '32 characteristics at the front. The inside was normal '33-up of course, but it was a tour de force of welding work!
There is nothing Lincoln there at all.

Body and rotor are '32. The "68" stamped on shaft indicates an advance assembly that was introduced in 1936 on the distributors with the cylindrical flat-top coil and then used until the end of 1940.
