Smile 1941 ford

This is my first time on, and I have a 1941 ford bussiness coupe. It was my high school car for a year, and I bought it for 100.00. I owned it for a year, and then against dads wishs I sold it.
Dad told me I would be sorry, and I was for 25 years.
In 1992, I tracked it down to Norfolk,Arkansas, and bought it back for,
WOW, 2500.00.
Now I have 1600.00 in it restored and I recently changed it to 12volt. and added the Vintage Air system.
I have always drove Model Ts and this ford coupe.
Well, that is my story and I am sticking to it.
I DO, have a BUNCH of 6 volt parts, if any one is interested.
I haven't yet found a gallery on this site yet, I would like to see some other members cars.

You need to click "Go Advanced" to do the pics. Also, if they are too big, open the picture on your pc then right click and send to an email. Say make pictures smaller, once the draft email opens, right click on the file attachement and save it back on your computer. You will then have a file small enough to post.

Hi Dennie, I also have a 41 business coupe which is slowly going together in a LONG term restoration.
I tracked down one of my cars once but couldn't buy it back.

I have a radiator, that I had recored in 1994, and I recently replaced it with a radiator that looks orginal, but is like the core from the monster trucks. I did this to help out the Vintage Air system.
This radiator would make somebody a good one.
If you need to get a hold of me, I am at 316-541-2884.

Oldskool, Do you go to the Norwich show? I saw a blue 41 there last year.

I tried to buy back my 50 Merc but somewhere along the line they became too rich.

I couldn't get radiator side supports so I modified ones for a 40' . Not much difference. A little bend in the vise and re-locate one hole as I recall.

Thanks for the reply. I have a couple of sets of the '40's but the '41's are a little heavier. I actually had two good ones but hit the radiator on a cement bumper and tweeked them.

I learned to drive on Mother's 41 cope with the drop down seats in back. I loved that car. While chasing 3 chicks I hit a tricolor Dodge...
My first car was a 40 Merc convertable sedan. I sold it after Daddy died. It lives now in Dayton, OH in another man's garage.

Ha HA, The old man used to set down by a big rock and straighten nails. Never got rid of anything. Came from having nothing during the Great Depression. I'd say, Dad, nails are only a buck or so at the hardware store.............
