bought it what is it

just bought m/A 4 dr body now the fun part what year and body is it the doors have arched windows at the top and a third window down the side so not a leather back and the cowl has a under dash gas tank anyhelp??? PLEASE hard to buy parts when i son,t know the year or if it is a briggs or murry thanks r/c

If you have a four door body with the arch at the top of the doors and a molding on the bottom edge of the door covering the step plate, it is a Murray Body. Could be a Standard or a Town Sedan. Murray put a little tag on the lower right cowl. Should be a hole where it goes if it`s not there.

Briggs had flat top doors and the molding at the bottom of the door was attached to the step plate.

if you would look at the cowl where the gas tank is this could narrow it down to either of those..also 21" wheels on the 28/29 and 19" wheels on the 30/31.......many other tips but we need more info from you to help.....Leon
