Default Wiper arms

The windshield wiper motor shaft on my '39 PU has threads on the end of it as if there should be an acorn type nut on it to retain the wiper arm. When I got the truck , there was a serrated cap on the end of the shaft held on by a shoulder nut and the wiper arm was of the type with serrations to keep the arm from spinning on the shaft. I can't seem to find the correct wiper arm or nut to retain the arm. Which type arm should I have with my truck, the serrated type or the bolt on type with a shoulder nut? It's not a big deal, but I would like for it to be correct.

Look at www.newportwipers.com they have a good selection of blades and arms as well as 12vt wiper conversions.

Thanks for the lead, but he has only electric conversions for hot rods.

The arm is off my '39 since I replaced the windshield. I'll dig it out and take some photos in the morning. I thought that Joe's Antique Auto listed some arms but I might be wrong.

That is exactly what I have been looking for. I suspected that the arm was bolted on, but this also tells me that it was also straight. Now to try and find the bolt on arm. I suspect it is 8" from the center of the hole to the part that the blade clips to. Thanks for the photos.
