Re: ford diaries
This is a link to a transcribed oral history of Emil Zoerlein who was an engineer put in charge of the ignition system for the V8. http://cdm15889.contentdm.oclc.org/c...coll2/id/19939
I'm not sure if some of the other members of the V8 team like Carl Schultz, Ray Laird, or Fred Thoms have any historical transcriptions in the Henry Ford or not. Most of what Sorensen's book details is how the casting line was set up to make the castings but that may only apply to engines manufactured one or more years after the 1932 run of V8 engines. A lot of changes were made in the first 3 or 4 years. I'm not sure about diaries that may exist from executives of Ford Motor Co. |
