Edward Hotel Update Dearborn
5/3/19: EDWARD Hotel UPDATE & Final: The Edward is CLOSED and Likely will NOT RE-OPEN AT ALL. Phone lines are NOT going to be answered and the front is barricaded. If you have a reservation still, please Call your credit card co. to dispute the charge as it's closed. We have NO CONTROL over this at all and cannot do it for anyone!!

Huh..you mean the city closed the hotel you were using? and you didnt find out till the members started getting stiffed?

Yup back in December and we immediately got 8 more hotels to accommodate them within 7 days for the National event, NO one got "stiffed" at all. We have been working on getting their room reservations released since for them as a favor to everyone and are now giving this update.....thats all, no more no less..

I think your missing the point of the post. Many many people cancelled their reservations, via phone and email. BUT many have not, in fact i got a call 2 days ago by someone telling me they JUST Heard it closed and another wanted to change the room them were in...YUP 5 months later. SO we are telling people the status now that we have been informed of and how to end it all on their reservations....
