Photos posting
I have found that my photos on my pc files are to large to load. I have had to put them on photobucket to get them on the threads. Any one have any ideas on this? Frank pkny

Re: Photos posting
I use a program called Gimp that is freeware. There are some tutorials on the web showing how to use its re sizing functions. There's lots of different programs to re size pictures out there. You can even do it with Paint that comes with Windows.

Re: Photos posting
That's what I use is paint with windows. I just find the picture I want to post in my folder and then right click on it. click on edit in the box that comes up. Then click on image at the top of the next page, Another box to click on stretch and skew. Next box change the % to the size you want. It will reduce the image to the % you insert. If you insert 60 % , your picture will be 60% the size of the original picture.
Then click on okay and X out of that page. A box comes up to save changes..click yes. It goes back to your original picture location folder. Click on the picture again to see it's new size on the screen. I'm not very computer savy , but that works for me. Good Luck |

Re: Photos posting
I've resized and loaded pictures into PhotoBucket to post into threads, I've resized and loaded pictures directly into threads AND I've resized and loaded some pictures into my FordBarn albums, mainly for the AV8 group.

Re: Photos posting
The 'picture code' to post from PHOTOBUCKET to this site is is the 'DIRECT CODE' from PHOTOBUCKET.
Place that code into the box provided by clicking on that yellow and black icon above every post AFTER you highlite and detete the HTTP:// provided by this icon. You will see your picture instantly. skip. |

Re: Photos posting
You do not need to resize your photos before uploading them to Photobucket. Photobucket "resizes" them for you and this is one of the reasons I like Photobucket so much. I like taking my photos in high resolution and like keeping them that way therefore uploading to Photobucket and posting from there is perfect for my needs.
