Default Fuel Pump Fitting

Any recommendation on a 5/16 hose adapter to fit inlet side of a fuel pump? Dosn't appear to be a pipe thread.

Try a JIC type tail. I think it's 9/16 AF but seals on the tapered seat at the back of the hole. Not 100% sure, but not a pipe thread.

For most of the early Ford fuel pumps the thread is 1/2-20 but the fitting also needs a seat to seal properly. Check out the Stromberg web site or Vintage speed. IMO, 1/4 I.D. should be fine for 2 to 3 Carbs.
