Default Material for Ranch Wagon upper control arm splash guards

Don't know the correct term but I'm looking for ideas of what type of material I can use to replace the brittle rubber like material on the upper control arm splash guards on my '54 Ranch Wagon. I thought about using an old inner tube but it isn't thick or stiff enough. I don't think heavy card board would be flexible enough. Looks to be just over an 1/8th of a inch (0.133) Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Masticated tire casing or cotton-reinforced rubber sheet (?). Try Steele Rubber or a local rubber supply house.

Found this stuff on Amazon. Not quite as thick but it sounds like it might work and its returnable.

Try Metro Molded Parts - they have different thickness sheet rubber last time I looked at their catalog.

Carpenter has repros Part #: BM-16240

Found them at Macs. With 10 dollar shipping it was just about the same cost as buying bulk material and making them.
