Okay, here’s a true story for you,
When my son was 15/16 we were fixing up his first car. he was sitting in the drivers seat turned the key on and asked “ Dad why is it in Spanish?” I said what are you talking about?
He said “right here, it says Door Ajar”
I still rib him about it.

He got a brand new Mercury in 1993, of which he was also very proud. I told him he should be, as the engine in the car was made in Bohemia. He was kind of astonished, but pleased with that fact, but asked me how I knew. I reached in and turned on the ignition and said "See for yourself". He looked in, and sure enough, there in red letters in the middle of the instrument cluster it said "Check Engine". Insert groans here.

I had that happen to my 47 PU The Kniffel pin was bad in the knuttion Rod, so I had to reblace the whole darn thing $$$$$$. Ya gotta keep em lubricated.

Do you have a part number for that pin? I think mine is starting to go too. Maybe Drake has one.

Drake does have them but..... they are on back order!
