Default Engine mount fixture

There was someone who made up fixtures to mount a flathead to an engine stand using the exhaust ports to hold the engine. I can't seem to locate that ad any where. Can someone steer me in the right direction. Thanks

I bought mine from Reds Headers.

These guys look like they sell what you need too: http://stumpysfabworks.weebly.com/st..._Products.html

Also, if you have a good drill, welder, and some time you can make your own.

Stumpys fixture is the one I want, but there is no way to contact him to purchase the item. Does anyone have a phone number or an e mail address that will be answered?

He has or had a website the last time I checked. I think it was listed as Stumpy's Fabracation or something like that. Google may be your your friend, plus I believe this has been mentioned in previous posts here, so doing a search for 'engine stands' may turn something up.

He has some kind of a web site that lists what he makes and sells, but no provisions to order any thing. I sent an e mail a couple of days ago, but no response yet. Saw some previous posts regarding these fixtures and many made up their own rather than wait. I really don't want the hassle of making my own.

I looked there and did not see it. Maybe I am not negotiating the web properly.

Just tried again and looked on pgs 2,3,4 and found nothing. I hate it when items for sale are so well hidden.

Simply email at the hotmail address that Ed Pitts provides and ask how Stumpys wants to execute the transaction. In these cases, I typically email the billing and ship-to addresses and call with a credit card number. Works every time!

I tried to contact the one on the HAMB, but I guess my limited computer skills won't let me buy it.

Very easy to do. I used a flat plate that connected to my existing stand plate and angle iron. You can use the existing exhaust manifold for a bolt pattern template. There are a number of different ways to build one.

JSeery, That is a terrific mount!! I,m going to make one up like that and I can still use my engine stand for conventional engines. Thanks for the picture.
