Default Re: One note to modern engine oils

I was at Farm King Friday and saw that they carry Kendall GT-1 20w-50 Performance motor oil, and on the front of the bottle it says 'contains zinc'.

I bought a number of quarts of the stuff, at $4.19 a quart I thought that wasn't too bad of a deal. I'll run it in our M Code '69 Mach 1 should be a good fit.

If I had a smart phone (which I don't) I'd take a picture of the oil bottle and post it here.

Kendall is refined at the Phillips-Conoco refineries. They also make the Ford Motorcraft oils and Phillip's TropArtic at the same refinery. Same red bottle same large open mouth screw on lid.

Good stuff they are all top notch motor oils.

If your engine is smoking don’t worry about what oil. An overhaul is in order then use Rotella T.
