I'm a few months shy of 80 and I can see where this is going. From the responses, it looks like our hobby is dominated by guys over 70. The market will be flooded with Model A's during the next ten years or so as we all croak because the younger generations don't seem to be interested in our treasures or don't have the space or the money. The fully restored trailer queens will go to the millenials who have the cash but no knowledge of how to work on them. The rest will likely waste away in garages or out in the back yard or converted to hot rods. This concern about how to preserve our hobby has been going on for some time now. Wish I had an answer.

I am older than any Model A ever made. I was with Dad in September 1928 when he traded in his Model T and we drove home in a 1928 Fordor. Bought my first "A" in 1937, before I was old enough to have a drivers license, continuous owner since then. Made my first Ford dealer buyout of obsolete parts in 1947, all Model T parts then, Model A buyouts came later, and V8 still later. Time flies when you are having fun!

Thanks for asking this! I am 65. Look like I am on the younger side of the average here.

I'm older than dirt. Almost. Maybe. Oh, I bet you wanted years, not comparisons, right? Well, when I can't remember, my wife says that I am 77, almost 78. When I do remember, I'm 16, and the neighbor girl looks really hot! (Now she looks like a truck drove over her face, sure glad I didn't marry THAT one!) Wait, maybe my wife is right and I'm wrong, I sure have the belly for 77, it takes 15 minutes to pee, and by then it's time to pee again, and I can hardly see my, ooops, ... Well crap, now you have me really confused!!! Nancy, did I take my pills today?

What was the question?

I am 75-years old, but have the mentality and social skills of an 8-year old!! Having fun putting the finishing touches on my Late '31 Standard Roadster. There is a Late '31 Budd Pickup Truck living in my barn out in back.

Am 64, but feel like I am in elementary school when comparing my Mod A experience/knowledge to most other Barners.

68 years old. Bought my "A" 38 years ago, ride my Harley as often as possible, and drove a '49 Ford Coupe 107+ mph at Bonneville Speed Week this year. Going back next year and go faster (I hope).

I’m 25 and loving every mile in a Model A! Rolled my odometer to 70,000 earlier this year (or 170 or 270!) so I’ve put about 12,000 miles on my A since I’ve had it.
