Default Rad cap restoration?

Has anyone restored a radiator cap? Mine needs the piece that has the two little wing that catch under the neck lip. If nobody has done it or it 'can't be done' then I have nothing to lose and try.

Thanks,

Mike

May or may not help here is some info I collected on the Mullins. I plan on contacting Ed Carr this week to see if he still makes the patch panels.

I have an 30-31 Eaton that needs to be restored. Has some dents. Anyone want it for postage?
