How do i identify.....
Hi guys, can any one tell me a quick way to identify weather a steering box is a 7 tooth or 2 tooth box. thanks THE HOOCH

The 7 tooth steering has the steering tube as one piece with the lower steering gear housing . The 2 tooth steering column has a clamp that connects the tube to the lower housing . This setup can be rotated to adjust the movement of the gas and spark levers .

above is correct for the 7-tooth. The 2-tooth has a clamp at the top of the gear box that holds the steering column on tightly to the gear box. The clamp is tightened with a large bolt/nut. Easy thing to look for. HTH.
