JimNNN Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2014 Posts: 522	Lubrication for Y block water pump shaft (?) What is that hole in the water pump of my '54 y block? It's about 1/8" in diameter, is at the top of the pump and exposes the inner shaft. It looks like a lubrication port of some type for the shaft, but the shop manual doesn't seem to mention anything about putting lubricant in it. Thanks
