Default swap car show at Fletcher, NC

Anybody besides me notice how poorly the recent Fletcher, NC swap meet was attended both by vendors and shoppers?

Holding Swap Meets in the middle of July, --even in the NC mountains is not something most people look forward to any longer. In addition, the time it takes to load up a truck and/or a trailer to take to a meet, then unload everything that did not sell when you get home is not something most hobbyists look forward to either. Then factor in the cost of fuel plus a night or two of lodging, and I think most realize that spending $500 to go sell $800 worth of parts just does not seem that appealing, -especially when you factor in that you had to buy those parts to begin with.

I didnt make it this year, either. They were predicting 90% chance of rain the day before, and I had an opportunity to work overtime, so stayed home and made money instead of spending it to buy more stuff I dont use. I'm sure I'm not the only one the weatherman scared away.
As it turned out, I think they had some of the nicest weather they've had in a long time.
Hate I missed it.
