Currently, the Antique car show is still on for Saturday. Hourly weather forecast shows low chance of rain for the morning.

Unless the skies really open up early I plan on coming. I don't mind a drive in the rain.

I have a new wiper blade on the drivers side of my daily driver! I'll be there with a load of stuff to sell to cover the cost of the stuff I buy to replace it. Bob

We had the show today. It was smaller than normal, but we had fun! Thanks for those that braved the weather, and for those that were not able to come, we hope to see you next year!

Dan,
Turnout was certainly better than expected, considering the rain. It was good to talk to you and we'll definitely be there next year with our coupe. Thanks again for having this show; it's an event we always look forward to.

Dan, we did not make the trek down from Portland due to the area forecast, it's a long 4 hour drive down but hope do get there with a crew of model T & A junkies next year. Scott

I'm sorry I didn't make it. It was a tough call, but the rain was pounding down my way when I first got up.

I'm looking forward to next year already.

I stayed home as well, very sorry to miss this event, it is a major link to meets of the past. Hope 2018 is filled with sunshine. Bob

I agree. Speaking of meets of the past, My favorite - now gone - meet was the Ridgefield (CT) Car show. You would see cars there that were never seen at any other show. I miss it every September.

And speaking of the Ridgefield show; I did a long test drive from Danbury to Tom Seagriff's house in New Milford in my tudor yesterday (picture one). Tom wanted me to let Bob know he found and old Ridgefield car plaque he is saving for you. (picture two). Bob do you recognize the car on the plaque?

I grew up going to the Ridgefield show. Pop used to bring me every year. It was there that I fell in love with the Model A. As we walked around, Pop would tell me how to spot a Packard or a Buick, and it is also where he first explained to me how to drive a Model T. However, he lit up the most when we looked at all the Model As and he shared all his memories of the ones he had growing up.
