Here's one that I brought home in 2004 and sold it a couple years later. As always, I sure wish I had not done that and still had this one!!

Here is my rough turd.But I like it and am in the process of getting it restored.This is a photo of it last year or so before I took it all apart.It is now scattered all over 2 garages.It used to be a Connecticut power company truck and was painted yellow from the factory.

Heres my daily driver. 34 with a 51 8BA, 39 tranny, f-100 steering and juice brakes.

Hi, Jack 34PU, my PU came with the 351 and automatic with a 9" with 3.25 gears. If I do my math right, the standard 3 speed and 3.78 rear has a combined ratio of between 10.54 and 13.23 depending on the first gear ratio. My 3.76 first gear and 3.25 rear give a 12.22 ratio. I'm thinking i will be OK. If it needs to go lower, there are plenty of gears out there for the 9 inch. I would have liked something lighter than the 9" but it was in when I got it home. Bought the adapter on E-bay and don't really know which it is. Fits good. Al K,

This is the oicture of "Merlot" before I started the restoration in 1999.He had been in barn storage since 1969. I first bought it in 1957 in running condition.

Byron you've done a marvelous job. Here's Ernie (posted yesterday) before resurrection. Asa wasn't any better and even had a Chevy engine...now long gone!

Update 9/11/14 - This truck has been sold. It was on my list of things to do, but I realized I would never have time to do this with all my other projects having higher priority. So off it went to a good home in West Virginia.

If you are also talking about pictures of big trucks, here are a few of my '32 model B, 1-1/2 ton, 131" wb, stake bed truck. Note the number of louvers on the side of the hood. If I ever get some of my other projects finished, I would like to drop in an early 21 stud engine to replace the 4 banger and replace the rear end gears or maybe the complete rear end with something that would make this truck more drivable on main roads. It will only do about 40 mph top speed now.

JM 35 nice old truck. It will take a later flathead without much trouble and use an inline overdrive like a Mitchell and keep the rest of it original.

I moved from Miissouri to California in 1965 in this truck. Had all my worldly possessions in the backand it looked a little bit like The Grapes of Wath. I still have it and drive a couple of times a month. Mostly stock except a 21 Stud LB Engine, '39 Trans, hydraulic brakes, a Columbia and I made a steering box for it using F100 Gears. This truck brings back a lot lf memories when I drive it. I think the '34 was the best looking PUs Henry made.

Chris, You have a great looking truck, I like the foglights. I agree that the '34 is among the best.

Mine also has a Columbia- considering the distances I drive probably is overkill, but sure is fun to shift.
