Default 52 Ford no heater

I do not plan on using a heater for now in my 52 Ford. What can or should i do with the outlet from the head and the inlet at the water pump? Should I run a hose from one to the other or just shut off the summer bypass and plug the water pump opening?

Shut them both heads off with the correct shutoff valves. Plug the pumps .

On my 52 Merc I just have a piece of heater hose to connect the two outlets and by pass the heater core. I don't plan on running it in real cold weather plus I don't know if the core leaks.
