got it printed out and now i can get the correct heater installed in this survivor coupe. car was parked in the mid 60's and left alone . only thing besides the southwind heater the car had the 85hp motor replaced in 1960 with a rebuilt 59AB at a ford dealership. in the paperwork was the invoice for the work....... rebuilt motor 159.90..... too bad a they dont cost that now to overhaul.

Contact Larry Caplan of Northridge, Ca (he is in the V8 club roster) he has the correct template for installing a 1940 Ford hot water heater and sells other related parts.

Check the measurements on the printout to make sure that it is full-size.

I did. Its off by the distance on the gas pedal mounting bolts. The last picture on page one is pretty clear with the measurements

I have bought a restored hot water heater for my 40 convert. Does anyone out there have a set of install instructions? It sure help with the install.
