Default 3xxx SPARK PLUG GAP

How is a 3XXX Spark Plug gaped. The part of the plug that should be over the center pin is off to the side. With that how is this plug gaped properly?

Run the feeler gauge between the two contact points.

I think he is asking when the ground electrode is off to the side.

That's the way I took it. I just bend the ground side away from the electrode if more clearance is needed. Bend closer for less. I don't see any other way to adjust the gap on the 3X plugs.

I have loosened the core and rotated it to adjust the gap and change the worn spot
