They are sometimes hard find. I bought a very nice one on eBay a few years ago but also had to buy the glove box door that it was attached to.

I believe the difference is in 35 the plating is brushed chrome finish and 36 bright chrome finish.I have had both styles in NOS .

Tony, here's an update. According to the EFV8C/A, 1935-36 Ford Book, the picture post by Route66 shows the glove box door lock configuration for both '35 & '36. The difference would be in the finish. '35 would have a satin finish while '36 would have a bright chrome finish. IMO, the bottom line would be if you are building a high point show car, then you should use the lock with a correct finish for your year car. If you are building a driver, not to be point judged, you could use a lock with either finish.
