Revise 7-tooth steering
Hello and a good day. In the winter I will revise the 7-tooth steering with the complete set of MACs.
As an additional accessory, there is a bottom plate with a tube so that the steering gear does not lose any oil. I do not understand its function. Can someone please explain the function to me? Thank you in advance!

Re: Revise 7-tooth steering
Hello Werner,
It is a tube that’s attached to the bottom plug that will go up over the full level Of your gear lube. Original steering boxes for the A did not have this anti leak Feature. If you look up steering gear in most any of the catalogs (Brattons) you Will see this part available. Good luck on your project Glen |
