Default 1950 Horn Button

Hi All,
Did all 1950 passenger cars have a chrome bar around the horn ring? or just some of them?

Thanks, Steve

The Custom Deluxe cars had the chrome horn rim, the Deluxe did not have them.

Yours is for a Deluxe model. Also, there are no chrome caps on the pointed ends of the dash on a DeLuxe model.

There are no chrome caps...clock was blocked off but I added one. Should it have a chrome bezel?

No, but I got shocked every time I blew the horn on a 1957 MG Magnette I had in the late '60's. A couple of years a go, I was looking at the H.A.M.B. and lo and behold, there was a thread on the subject. There is a logical reason for it, but for the life of me, I can't remember it.

You might do a search over there.
