1930 Model AA with mechanical grain dump
City:
Wake Forest
State:
NC
Price:
11,500
Well, I had big dreams with this but the reality is I will not do justice to this truck. I have way too many other projects going on. I'm asking $11,500 for it or trade for a decent 30-31 A coupe. (no major projects)
Here's what I know: 1930 Model AA with an aftermarket (in 1930!) grain box with mechanical dump. It's all there and it all works. Truck runs great, starts easy. Drives but I have not gone out of the driveway as the tires are pretty much shot. There was some farm fixes over the decades, someone a long time ago, replaced the roof with a piece of sheet metal. It's screwed in with machine bolts and square nuts. Kind of funny actually. The seat springs are gone, replaced with a wood back and seat bottom. Again, kind of funny. Missing driver's side door glass. The body is 99% rust free, there is some patch work needed in the bottom rear of the cab but that's it. Very minor. Fenders are relatively straight and extremely solid. Old time repair on both fenders at the bead. The bed wood is solid as a rock, probably from hauling grain (slightly oily and abrasive at the same time). I can take whatever pictures anyone wants. I'm new to Model A's and am learning on a '30 Sedan. All this truck needs is someone who knows what they are doing and I am honest enough to know I'm out over my skis on it. I don't need to sell it, I just think it would serve someone better than me. Email me if interested, reefsandrods @ g m a i l . co m Thanks for your interest! Brandon
