Angry Marshall Lewis

I just learned today of the passing of a great friend
one of the nicest guys you could meet and a fantastic Model A man
here he is in the gray shirt
unfortunatly this is the only photo i could find of him
i took it at Puyallup last year
he had many beautiful restored model As,some of which made the cover of the Restorer, plus being the author of many model A articles
including building your own rear trunk
hope some one can tell his whole history with the model A
he had a beautiful 29 De Luxe delivery and drove it from Modest Ca to Seattle Wa in 1972
on the way up some one smashed the RR corner ,smashing his NOS fender and doing a lot of damge to the quarter panel
they Judged him on the undamaged side
i forget his score (age and 40+ years ago)
I know he also had a beautiful Victoria
tom

I am sorry to hear that. My prayers go out to his family.

I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with him at the 2014 National MAFCA Meet in Puyallup, WA.

A great Model A man indeed...He will truly be missed.

At the NCRG meeting yesterday, we voted unanimously to retire his number 13 for all future roundups.

He also restored a very nice hard-top pickup. It had a Cragar conversion, hand-made cover for the bed, etc. All very nice, typical for him. He was a great guy and will be missed.

Truly a loss to our hobby. Marshall's Victoria is on display at the MAFFI Museum. He will be missed.
