Default Night and Day (Lube and Oil)

I lubed, changed the motor oil, trans, steering, and rear-end fluids. What a difference that made. I have to say "WHAT A JOB", it's a lot of work (and hotter than hell in AZ today). Much better ride, I just can't believe it. After much research...thanks to many here on TFB, I went with Rotella motor oil and 75% 600W and 25% STP mix for the trans and rear. Went straight 600W in the steering box. We'll see how that goes.

I like 100% STP in transmission, differential and steering.

despite the naysayers, it drove great and got good mileage on the French Lick trip.

however, if I was going to put STP in only 1 of the 3 gearboxes, it would be the steering, because the parts are moving at slow speeds and at least on my cars it is the most likely of the three to leak a bit.
