Default Exhaust manifold problems...

I have several exhaust manifolds that need some tender loving care.

All are useable, some more than others, but no cracks, just some pitting at the front.

Those with cracks I have piled them in the scrap.

I have two issues.

1. I have one that is fairly decent BUT has a hole on the inside on top of one of the tits that accepts the bolts to attach the Intake manifold. Is this fixable by welding up the hole?

2. I have 7 that have the bolts that attach the intake to the exhaust for which have broken off. Besides heating, drilling a hole, and using an EZ-out to try to get them out, any other suggestions before I dive into this project?

Thanks.

Pluck

As for thr broken boss on the inside, I just had a thread about that. Suppose you could try brazing the hole but do realize that exhaust can escape past the bolt.

Ive repaired broken wallowed ect hole for bolting manifolds together, by oversizing the hole, threading, installing a bolt, and cutting flush. Then carefully using a centering starter bit, drill and tap back to the original thread size.
