There is a swap meet coming up at the Los Alamitos Race Track (Southern California) on Saturday July 24. I believe it is put on by the Long Beach Model T Club. Usually a very good swap meet with an abundance of Model A parts.

The location is in the parking lot of the race track, right behind Costco's on Katella Ave. in the city of Los Alamitos.

Don't forget the Riverside (Ca.) Swap meet the week before (Sat afternoon & Sunday) at the soccer field. Riverside off ramp from the 10. Riverside/Corona Model T club presentation. Lots of "A" parts also.

Tom, is this the old Long Beach swap meet? I used to go to one in the "bowl" some years ago.

This is the Riverside "T" club Meet. The Long Beach meet which use to be in the Bowl is the following week at Del Mar Race Track. It was moved from the Vet Stadium facility last year. Both GOOD meets!

It off of Riverside Ave(?) South of the 10. Not sure if there is an off ramp on Riverside going North from the 60 for you coming from the south. Saturday after 10am Sunday early till about 3.

The Long Beach "T" swap meet used to be held at Veteran's Stadium in Long Beach. It is now held at the Los Alamitos Race track. The location is the section of parking lot that is directly behind Costco's. the address for Costco's is:

5401 Katella Ave.
Los Alamitos, CA 90720

The date is Saturday, July 24. I believe it is also held on Sunday as well.

When I was working I had the opportunity to plan a few business trips around the Long Beach T Club swap meets when they were held at the college parking lot. They had more stuff than any other swaps that I was able to go to - Iola included. I go to Hershey every year but the walking is taking a toll on my feet. No plans to go to California this year but I would if I could. Bring a lot of cash - you will spend it.
