Re: She stayed in the rumble seat too long
I was told that while the small lever was for the parking brake, moving the big lever that way was for the sparking break.

Re: She stayed in the rumble seat too long
In response to items 10 & 19, we never hear of women going to hair dressers to get "Permanent" hair-do's anymore.
This poster is a good example of how permanent those "Permanents" really were; i.e., in the open rumble seat, her "Permanent" not only survived a minimum 45 mph Model A breeze; but, her "Permanent" withstood as much of a rough & tumble exercise as that of her dress. Also, on Bill's shoe comment, luckily while being in the rumble seat with high heels on, at least she could not puncture the interior original upholstered headliner above with her sharp high heels, or even leave her muddy footprints on same. One thing for sure, people always had fun even prior to Moses. |

OK - only an 'I'm confused' question...
Saw several quotes from Jeff/Illinois; yet I don't see any posts by him and there are no post numbers missing... What's up with that?
