Re: A Strange Looking Zephyr At Hershey (Pics)
I think that was in a big old museum/car collection that was recently sold off.

Re: A Strange Looking Zephyr At Hershey (Pics)
I looked it over at Hershey. Other than the goofy front end it's just a crusty old Lincoln.

Re: A Strange Looking Zephyr At Hershey (Pics)
Some people think having large breasts makes a woman stupid. Actually, it's quite the opposite. A woman having large breasts makes men stupid and hence the ugly Zephyr!

Re: A Strange Looking Zephyr At Hershey (Pics)
The car was part of the Hartung auction sale in Glenview, IL. It had been sitting for a long time but was all there. It had some other Morrison trim features as I remember. He designed front end treatments for Lincolns and Packards. I do not know how many were sold.
Morrison was an inventor, reputed locally to have invented the deep freeze. The house we live in is on some property he once owned. |
