Thanks Ron, this car has been awesome. Very different than the street rods I have built in the past. But I have shown restraint and am glad I have. I have a lot of people wanting to buy car. But I don't believe I will ever find another.

Don't ever sell that beauty. I sold a '40 DeLuxe Tudor years ago, and still wish I had kept it.

Now that I have my '39, I feel like I'm somewhat redeemed, but it would be nice to have a his/hers with my '40 back.

Not planning on it, I sold my 40 coupe and bought it back 6 years later. Realized that if you sell it the money and the car are gone!!!! Oh and your sedan looks super cool as well, any more pics of it?

The sedan is far more cool looking than the coupe.

Haha! Thanks. The '35 is killer! Yes, we would get along just fine.

Colorado would be a helluva round trip for the meetings!

You get points from my Dad for Colorado Springs. My parents loved living there when my Dad was in the Air Force. They've talked for decades about going back for a visit but never have. My sister finally decided to go there this summer, but she was only there a couple days with the fires. When they closed the Air Force Academy, they decided to abandon the rest of the vacation.

Ya quite a trip for the meetings. Sorry about your sister's vacation. I was working in the fires since I work for the gas department, had to cut and cap the gas lines in the fire.. It was crazy, but when we got put on evac status I was motivated to get 40 done since it wasn't running and was in the line of the fire.... Now look. Just about ready for the Roundup!!

In 1952 I was also stationed at Big Spring AFB Texas (Later Webb AFB) and had a 40 ford tudor just like this one. I ran it all over Texas and three times took extended Three day passes to drive 38 hours non stop (accept for fuel) to my home in central Ohio. I never gave a second thought of expecting the 40 to take the beating of foot on the floor and no super highways. Old fords just did those things. Couldn't take her to Korea with me so had to sell it. Sure wish I had it now.
