Fuel Pump Filter
Can someone post the NAPA number for the fuel filter that goes in the bowl of the '49-'53 flathead engine. Is this filter enough or is it just a screen?
The picture was my '34 pu in the homecoming parade at MacMaster U. For some reason one of the tires sprung a leak and we did not finish. Right rear looks a bit low. Byron. Can someone tell me how to post my pictures bigger?

Re: Fuel Pump Filter
Napa #3039,you still need a spring under it and a good fitting cork gasket, screens, cork gasket, spring and filtercenter hole must be hogged out a little as it wont fit over the nub in the pump. Screen goes in first, then the gasket, then the filter, then the spring. Do this with the pump upside down, then slide the bail over the glass bowl and tighten the thumb wheel and your set to go.NAPA will only have the filter. I have the rest. ken ct.
