AH, WE'VE GONE FULL CIRCLE.

Here's a Signal Stat 900 tht doesn't look as bulky as Mike's. It also does 4 way hazard flashing.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Signal-Stat-...e53690&vxp=mtr

I'm gonna sleep on it.

Thanks to ALL for the input and advice. Chuck

OK,

Remember that the 900 signal stat needs to have a good ground for the mounting strap on the steering column. They come with a 12 volt pilot bulb so you will need to find a #51 bulb for 6 volt use.

The wiring is designed to use the brake light filament in the tail lights and a voltage from the brake light switch and battery.

If you like the look of the switch, I suggest using a 902 has fewer wires and the only splice that needs to be made is the supply voltage if you use the lights from Mikes you looked at earlier it also has 4 way flash.

It's your car, your decision.

That's one of the reasons why I got mine from Sacramento Vintage. They took all the guess work out of their kit. Plus it had all the correct wiring already done for the Model A. And mine came with a 6v pilot bulb. I had to change that out when I went 12 volts.

When I bought my PU, it came with a Sacramento Vintage catalog. I bought everything from them until I discovered all the other vendors. Still buy anything with wiring from them since they make all their own harnesses with correct color coded cloth covered wire.

Yea, I've been thru the "back-ordered" routine with them on other things as well, but not on their wiring products.

Ok, I took all the good advice here and got a Signal-Stat 900 and a #51 6v bulb for it, if it doesn't already have it.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/331600331119...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I also got 6v incandescent bumper flashers and plenty of wire to do the job.

This is what I want, and I expect I can hook it all up w/o much trouble. There's a guy or two in my local club that will help me if I mess up. Again, Thanx to all! Chuck
