Disclaimer: I am a Model A'er, but new to T's, so please excuse my ignorance. I have a '26 engine that probably has not run since the 1970's. Am currently gathering up miscellaneous external engine components to get it running. With the oil pan cover removed, I looked up into the crankcase and noticed that there is no internal oil line. I can plainly see the holes in the block casting where the line should run, but no tubing. There is, however, an auxiliary external oil line (from the mag. post to the front cover). Will this line alone provide adequate lubrication? (If this car EVER gets on the road it will be just for puttering around and not for long distance/sustained driving)

I would not run just the line from the mag plug. not enough oil through there. I would look for the line that goes from the tranny to the front main. They are being reproduced, but I would look for a good original one. John
