Default Armrests for a 1940 Coupe

I am trying to find a pair of armrests for my 1940 coupe. Can someone post a couple of photos, as I really dont know what I'm looking for. Photos of the bare frames would be helpful too, as that is what I will find at any swap meet. I posted in the wanted section, but if anyone has some let me know. Thanks, Bill

Here is what Drake sells tho he lists them from 32-48.I think originally they were introduced in 34 and used at least until 1940.Not sure the after that.

LeBaron-Bonney also has them. They are made of wood and cheaper than the metal ones. Once covered with material no one knows the difference. I've used them on a couple of occasions.

Couple photos of 35 Cabriolet arm rest below, they are the same as 40. In 40 the Standard 5-window and the Standard business coupe did not have an arm rest. The Deluxe coupes had one on the drivers side.

I am using these 1959 Ford arm rests from Lebaron-Bonney in a 40 tudor. I chose them because they feature an opening and can be used as a pull to close the doors. I also welded a 3/4" channel along the lower edge of the inner door panel for added ridgidity. I painted the arm rests to match the interior with SEM products and techniques. The round pieces behind the arm rests provide a firm, flat surface to pull the arm rests/upholstery panels tight against with chrome 5/16 allen screws threaded into fittings welded to the inner door panel.
