Default Electrolock?

This ignition cable is marked with the ford logo and number g382264. The distributer end is longer and has an integral cast iron hole to attach to the head bolt. Was this used on a specific A or was it an add on?

The electrolock with the long "banana" end piece with the integral clamp for bolting to the head was used for very early '28s

Sounds like the banana type end used thru May 1928.

The "banana" is the solid curved tube (not the spiral wound cable) between the distributor and the head stud holding it in place.

OK, FM,
So who are you actually directing your question to in Post # 12??? Was it meant for the OP, was it for Synchro99, was it for Werner (who has English as a.second language)? And while I'm on the way-off-topic subject of considering confusing language, what do you actually mean by the expression "... just a 'considered' name?
Actually, I'm fairly well ready for Happy Hour right now, so need to answer... Didn't mean to be a bother.
Hopefully I don't seem rude.
Thanks

Ok, now I understand what's called "banana". I have not known this component as cable protection yet. At that time heartily constructed! Thank you for your good advice!
