Default Time travel to 1930; what do you order at your Ford dealer?

You've got plenty of cash to spend, any model, any options, any accessories, and any color.

Me:

68B Cabriolet, adjustable seat (not that I can fit in this thing even with it all the way back!)

Yellow, brown, black, with black wheels.

Make it a six wheel, but keep the rear spare mount and get the extended lug nuts so I can carry 4 wheels on a long trip.

Clock in the rearview mirror. Fancy instrument panel. Water temp and oil pressure on either side of the steering column. Not sure I'd go for a Police Head or performance cam.

Passenger side running board frame for water, oil, gas. Luggage rack and trunk. Gas heater on firewall. Stock rubber mat to cover the floor when I remove the standard carpet to save it for special occasions.

Tux-a-way. Motometer in the Quail's tail feathers.

All the NOS parts I can afford to store away for the duration of the Depression and WWII including TIRES and top!

An extra set of top irons to sell for $1000 to some collector 85 years from now.

An extra Tux-a-way to sell for $10,000 to some collector 85 years from now!

What would this have cost in 1930?

Otherwise a Deluxe Phaeton in blue or green.

If I had "plenty of cash to spend" for an automobile, it would not have been at the Ford dealer!! Unlikely anyone else back in the era would have chosen a Ford dealer either. If it had to be a Ford product, then maybe a Lincoln duel-cowl Phaeton would fit the bill. No need to buy all of the top irons & tux-aways then! The sales price of a low-mileage, all-original Lincoln Convertible Sedan or a Town Car would likely see a larger pay-out today than the sale of all of your Ford Dealer assets of 1930.

haha hes got a point...

Since you said time travel id assume you would want to eventually come back to said present time to sell your items so I would think a secure completely dry cool place that only you knew of that wouldn't get developed over (probably remote area of the southwest USA) to "hide" your car to retrieve upon your return trip would be first in order...Since what i know about time travel from movies and TV shows you can only bring you and whats on you around in time.

Remember if you can barely squeeze into your model A nowadays, you would stick out like a sore thumb but still probably be nowhere near the worlds tallest man in 1930 which i linked below (what car was he driving in one of the pictures?)

In 1930 I'd still be driving my Babe around in her 1929 Rolls............I wouldn't need a car of my own, I'd be a kept man.

31 Model A,

To me it looks like Garbo is in a custom bodied Chrysler and not a Rolls-Royce. No matter what is said in the picture. Neat car what ever it is.

Man, I've thought of this a LOT! I like the Cabriolet idea, except it doesn't have a real trunk. Perhaps a Standard Roadster, pretty much any color. Plain wrapper model with no accessorys would be fine.

I'd be happy to lay my hands on a Kari-Keen trunk (with the rear-mounted spare on it)

Coming from the future how do you get money they will accept? Can't use credit cards-Travelers check-or any check has a date and our paper money is different.

Here's a photo in color of her Rolls.

She had a 1932 and 1933 Duisenberg's also.

Ford didn't go public until 1956. You'll have to settle for some GM stock.
