Default Introduction - from Syracuse, NY

Hello all,

Just taking a moment to introduce myself. I'm Cave Luther, retired, live in Syracuse, NY with my delightful wife, Marie. (And our dog, Sparky.)

The avatar is of my '15 Triumph Bonneville, haven't had the "A" out due to salty roads, but will replace the photo once Spring comes and I can get a sunny day. It's a '31 Coupe with rumble seat.

Enough for now,
Cave

Welcome Cave. I like your Triumph although I am an old Matchless rider myself. Your smart to keep your A out of the salt. Spring will be here before we know it.

Welcome. I'm not far away and am an old Triumph fan/rider [ Valkyrie now though]. I'm thinking you'll enjoy the 'A'.

Central New York is a great place to own a Model A.

Country roads everywhere, and the lakes.

We lived in Homer for 25 years. Got our 29 out of a barn in Virgil.

Go SU! Enjoy.

Welcome! Sadly, my only memory of Syracuse is getting quickly to a motel at the start of a snow storm traveling East to West! Keep that A protected till spring and then "ENJOY"

Welcome Cave...from the wilds of the Arizona Desert. Here, we drive our 'A's in the winter and not so much in the summer when the temperature can ease past 115 in the afternoon...we tend to exercise them at sun-up, eat breakfast at a 24 hour diner and be back in the garage by 7am or so. Some overdue replies...

WMWS Matchless year? CHUCK "Cave-man" yup! BURNER31 I must have 100 or more 50's-60's sci-fi DVDs... Forbidden Planet is #1 but the hokey b&w ones are my weekend fodder. You locals, PATRICK, SCOTT, and LOUBOB drop me a personal message... maybe a get together this summer.

I have had a number of Matchless in the early 60s. I currently have a 1961 350 trials bike that I put a 600 Typhoon engine in for enduro riding. I have owned it since new. I've had a number of mostly English bikes over the years.
