That's the way my old jalopy always runs. I didnt know there were any Rebels in California, bet you got some funny looks.
Honestly, it was no big deal around here, until the medial got ahold of it and made it one.
I got a broke leg this year, was forced to ride around in my old 55 with just the good old American flag flying....no clutching for me.
Hope everyone has a safe and Happy 4th!

I bought my cars pretty much as is, except for the b/ws on the sedan.

It is a Nov 28 roadster, So the top is correct. Too bad I couldn't get the Ford logo on right. It came that way and I once tried to straighten it without success.

Jeff, sorry you had to sell. I have had this one a little over a year. My son loves driving it. I enjoyed enlisting him to drive so that I could have both of my cars in the parade.

It was pretty cool here, so no overheating. A bit earlier in the week neither were in shape for the parade, but I got both fixed. We waxed both cars yesterday, just in time for the rain. We have had about 10 in. in the last two weeks!

My daughter took this picture of six of the MARCOM entries at the Squantum, MA, parade today. My car is second in line. Some of the skyline of the City of Boston is visible across the water in the left side of the picture.

Sarah is tuck away back in her berth. It was a nice day weather wise. Had a great meal, tender grilled BBQ pork steak, baked beans seasoned with smoked bacon and grease, spud salad and a few Schlitz. After that last Schlitz, a quick run to the outhouse. Now I'm going to lean back in my chair, have a fresh cup of coffee and watch "Pride of the Yankees".

Cheers all, great pictures and good company.................

Ed and Sarah
